She’s a saxophonist, composer, orchestra leader, and DJ based in London. She stands as a leading figure in the revival of jazz music within British club culture and is among the foremost Afro-futurist exports. Garcia attended prestigious institutions such as the Royal Academy of Music, Berklee College of Music, and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where she graduated with distinction as a jazz instrumentalist. She is a member of the contemporary septet Nerija and has an impressive track record of international tours, performing in venues and festivals across Latin America, Asia, Europe, Australia, and the United States.
