A luthier father, three musician sons. Samir, Wissam, and Adnan, virtuosos of the Oud, an oriental lute, Palestinians born in Nazareth, form the trio Joubran (their surname), truly established in 2004. The trio continues to spread Palestinian culture worldwide, performing at various venues, from the Olympia (Paris) to the legendary Carnegie Hall (New York), including performances at the United Nations and in South America.

Their first album, “Tamaas” was released in 2003, followed by “Randana” (2004) and “Majâz” (2007). Their third album, “À l’ombre des mots” celebrates the poetry of Mahmoud Darwich.

“The Long March,” their sixth album released in October 2018, tells the Trio Joubran's current project, aiming to define the oud as a traditional and modern instrument. An unexpected artist appears on the track “Supremacy”: Roger Waters, the mastermind behind Pink Floyd. Renaud Letang produced this album.
